3 tbsp butter
1/2 ~ 2/3 can of black olives
1/2 cup of heavy cream
salt and pepper
Fettuccine, spaghetti or linguini are what I use to make this. You are not limited to my recommendation but I would say linguini is the best for it.
First slice the olives into thin rings. I do 3 slices per olive though you can do more making the rings smaller. Next, sauce pan on medium heat melt butter. Add in the heavy cream. Do not simmer or boil. Mix until the sauce is combine and it is hot. About 4 minutes. Finally add in the olives. Cook in the sauce for about 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
After straining the pasta add it to the sauce pan and mix well. Turn the heat off. Salt and pepper to taste.
I serve this with peas and a buttered roll since the dish is super tasty, light, and quick to make.
This is a very simple quick one to make. Serves about 3 people. If you do not like olives or the taste of olives you may not like this.
