Pre heat the oven to 400 degress. In a small sauce pan melt 1 tbsp butter. Saute the minced garlic. Add in the thyme, papprika, and the rest of the butter. Mix well, butter should be fully melted.
Remove the shell from the shrimp, you could leave the tails on, I do not do this. Place the shrimp in the pan flat. Do not over lap the shrimp. Place the sliced lemon on top of or in between the shrimp. Pour the butter and seasoning over all of the shrimp and lemon slices. You may have to adjust where the garlic is as sometimes it clumps up. Salt and pepper.
10 min to 16 minutes. For larger shrimp it will take longer to cook. I will be done when it decreases in size and has the classic pink orange color. If you are unsure how long to bake: 8 min in oven then kill heat and wait 4 minutes then remove.
This is excellent side dish or appetizer. I pair this with simple pasta recipes turning a plain meal into something awesome.

Do not use hard stick like thyme. I made that mistake. Taste good but the stick thyme gets very pokey in the mouth.
